okay.. well not exactly.. at least thats not my impression so far..
this is me being a blog whore by popular demand.
After about 15 painstaking house viewings we finally found me a place to live, if a little bit mouldy. space, and location is great the only issue really is the bedroom that had mould crawling halfway up 3 of its 4 walls and the grubby carpets that leave your feet literally black after half a day or so. but all in all im happy… unlike back at Bristol. the boiler takes 20 minutes to heat up rather than 40 back in
Also surprisingly my luck with public transport has changed, and its so easy getting around
what else… oh my overall impression of st martins? BAD MANAGEMENT. no better than the day of the portfolio viewing. But i guess bad management is what you’re going to get if you leave a university to a group of arty people…….. also someone who looks exactly like my cousin.
On another note. watched atonement. it was quite good actually, not because of the characters but the way it was directed, clever little twists. keira knightly, pretty face… but really I don’t think she can act. Robbie, was a pretty good character, sort of like in Enduring love (the novel) the lead male was supposedly the hero of the story, the good guy yet flawed, because he is human, he gets angry, and he does have his own temptations. blah blah blah… If Atonement follows the laws of nature then the book should be even better than the film.
Anyways. im off .
