hellew and good day spectators of Elworld!
well… erm lots and then very little happened since my last post.. (is post grammatically incorrect for the internets.. should i say blog..hmm.. okay thinking too much again.. according to my driving instructor.. i think too much.. and he’s never had to say that to a student.. ever.. okay see?.. now i waffled..)
well jen came to visit! which was awesome, really.. its been so long since i last really spent time working and talking and yesh just being in the same space with my favourtite swede, rather being rushed around here and there.. i mean even though she always makes time for me when i drop by bristol. it was great.. i have never done so much walking through london in 3 days… (there never was a real need before) .. so yes walked a stretch of the south of the thames at night, melted in what was supposed to be the hottest day of the year (most definately) and finished off with oogling at dead things in glass jars. ‘El, isn’t it funny how our idea of a good time is drawing dead things’; why yes we are specials 
… (i was even sleeping early – 12 ish!!)
erm so that was last week.. then came this week.. where excessive late nights of laziness took place, probably to over compensate for the shock of sleeping early had made on my system.. and actually i think i have some sort of induced insomnia or something.. i can’t really bring myself to sleep earlier than 3.. GAH sound like such a moaner.. (which..really i am.. i heard its a british thing.. so im completely innocent, merely a result of my environment) .. anywho.. i now have 2 aching shoulders/arms.. can’t tell which the whole thing sort of just aches so much so it took me about 40 mins to get to sleep and when i did i could feel the ache consciously whilst i dreamt.. happy days!
getting ready to leave london, spent the whole morning washing dishes, washing clothes ironing, mass scanning work, just spent an hour at sainsburies (its a bit of an obsessive thing.. i have to walk every isle JUST INCASE theres something i needed which i never realised i needed, i could yearn for something i never even thought i needed.. GAH i swear there is a pinch of OCD in me…. i hate it when people rush me in shops.. supermarkets especially.. great places really.. minus the fact that they do threaten older traders such as butchers, bakers and the likes.. anywho!) initial plan was to leave everything spic and span (where the crap did that saying come from what is spic.. am i even spelling it correctly..) unfortunately dan sort of slapped me with his (verbal) glove and challenged me to create a good pasta ‘because frankly el your pasta sauces are crap’. well if theres one thing dan is actually reliable for is his ever unwavering righteousness that takes the form of honesty.. cheers dan.. he’ll never tell you when he likes something, but don’t worry if he doesn’t you’ll be the first to hear it. my pasta will pwn his. lots.
my freezer box won’t hold all the icecream i brought.. rather unfortunate that… i shall have to eat them this instant AH also.. i really really need new shoes now.. see i had a pair of converse.. which the heel had a slightly ripped heel, and 2 additional rips, so i brought a second pair of converse, this had an even shorter life span, after about half a year the heel ripped too but worse than the first pair. SO! i went back to wearing the first pair, but now the first pair has definitely the biggest rip. the heel of the canvas part has been ripped from the sole of the shoe, literally it does this sort of pac man motion, and i don’t mean glide. also it was raining when i went out to the shops and really walking in the rain is a bit of a luxury really, i mean when you’re not rushing anywhere with the intention of staying in wet clothes. but yes.. came back with spongy sounding wet feets GAARRHHH i needs new shoes.. (and possibly need to stop turning everything in to plural/ adding ’s’ to the end of every other word’
also on a side note.. people nowadays spell worse than people two decades ago.. this is partially doe to word processing everything on a computer, and having built in spell check. i think my spelling is improving (lies!) i only changed the spelling of 3 words… as appose to seeing too many squiggly red lines to bother. I still can’t spell definately, its supposed to be definitely.. hmm i shall work on that..
